Consensus Building in Land Cover Mapping

At the midpoint of the TaLAM project, we are starting to produce outputs. One such is the outcome of a consensus building exercise we held in Teagasc, Ashtown in November. Here we gathered government experts in land use mapping from agricultural and environmental perspectives in order to ascertain what spatial and temporal characteristics would be needed of a national land cover programme for them to do there day to day work. The report with the results of the exercise can be downloaded: TALAM Consensus Building Workshop_Nov2014_WP2. In the coming weeks we will be presenting interim mapping online looking for wider feedback

The presentations by Brian Barrett and Christoph Raab can be accessed below: TaLAM_workshop2015_BB_UCC
